बुरांश का यह वृक्ष लगभग 10 मीटर ऊंचा होता है । यह हमेशा हरा रहता है । इसके पत्ते शाखाओं के छोड़ पर गुच्छों में होते हैं । पत्ते 5 -15 सेमी लम्बे , चमड़े के रंग के होते हैं । इसके फूल मखमली और लाल रंग के होते हैं ।
मदगन्धा बुरांश (Rhododendron campanulatum D. Don)
यह पौधा लगभग 1-4.5 मीटर ऊंचा और झाड़ीदार वृक्ष होता है । यह भी हमेशा हरा रहता है । यह हिमालय और कश्मीर के उच्च पर्वतीय शिखरों में पाया जाता है । इसके पत्ते चमकीले और चिकने होते हैं । इसके फूल सफेद और गुलाबी रंग के होते हैं |
बुरांश कहां पाया या उगाया जाता है ?
