नवरात्रि – शक्ति की आराधना का पर्व – कैसे मनाएं, पूरा विधि विधान

सर्व मंगल मांगल्ये शिवे सर्वार्थ साधिके, शरण्ये त्र्यम्बके गौरि नारायणी नमोस्तुते।

नवरात्रि देवी (Navratri Vrat Vidhi Vidhan) की आराधना का पर्व है। कहने को नवरात्रि साल में 4 बार आती है, लेकिन दो नवरात्रि मुख्य नवरात्रि होती हैं। शेष दोनों नवरात्रि गौण नवरात्रि होती हैं, जो केवल देवी साधना के साधकों के लिए महत्वपूर्ण होती हैंं।

बाकी दोनों नवरात्रि ‘शारदीय नवरात्रि’ और ‘चैत्र नवरात्रि’ सामान्य जन के लिए महत्वपूर्ण नवरात्रि है। इसीलिए वर्ष में दो बार नवरात्रि मनाई जाती हैं। ये दोनों चैत्र नवरात्रि एवं शारदीय नवरात्रि प्रमुख है।

चैत्र नवरात्रि हिंदू वर्ष के चैत्र महीने की प्रतिपदा से लेकर नवमी तिथि तक मनाई जाती है तथा शारदीय नवरात्रि हिंदू वर्ष के आश्विन मास की प्रतिपदा तिथि से लेकर नवमी तिथि तक मनाई जाती है।

चैत्र नवरात्रि के नवें दिन भगवान श्रीराम का जन्मोत्सव ‘राम नवमी’ का पर्व भी होता है। शारदीय नवरात्रि के नौ दिन के बाद दसवें हिंदुओं का प्रमुख त्योहार ‘विजयदशमी‘ (दशहरा) मनाया जाता है, ये पर्व भी भगवान श्रीराम से संबंधित है।

नवरात्रि एक ऐसा पर्व है जो पूरे देश में अलग-अलग रूपों में मनाया जाता है। उत्तरभारत में दोनो नवरात्रि का पर्व धूमधाम से मनाया जाता है। बंगाल में शारदीय नवारात्रि का पर्व ‘दुर्गा पूजा’ के रूप में मनाया जाता है। गुजरात राज्य में भी शारदीय नवरात्रि का पर्व बेहद धूमधाम से मनाया जाता है। गुजरात का गरबा और डांडिया नृत्य नवरात्रि से ही संबंधित है। नवरात्रि में देवी के नौ रूपों की पूजा की जाती है। हर दिन देवी के अलग-अलग रूप में निर्धारित हैं, जिनका क्रमिक रूप से पूजन किया जाता है। देवी के यह नौ रूप निम्नलिखित हैं…

  1. प्रथमदिन : शैलपुत्री
  2. दूसरेदिन : ब्रह्मचारिणी
  3. तीसरेदिन : चंद्रघंटा
  4. चौथेदिन : कुष्मांडा
  5. पांचवेंदिन : स्कंदमाता
  6. छठेदिन : कात्यायनी
  7. सातवांदिन : कालरात्रि
  8. आठवांदिन : महागौरी
  9. नवांदिन : सिद्धिदात्री

देवी के नौ रूपों की अलग अलग रूपों की हर दिन क्रमिक रूप से पूजा की जाती है और नौवें दिन देवी के नाम पर हवन-यज्ञ आदि करके नौ कन्याओं को देवी का स्वरूप मानकर उन्हें भोजन-दान कराया जाता है।

नवरात्रि के नौ दिनों को तीन भागों में विभाजित किया गया है। नवरात्रि के पहले तीन दिन देवी दुर्गा-महाकाली के लिए समर्पित हैं, जिस दिन देवी के शक्ति रूप की पूजा की जाती है।

नवरात्रि के अगले तीन दिन धन की देवी महालक्ष्मी लिये समर्पित हैं। इन तीन दिनों में मन के विकारों को नष्ट करने के लिए पूजा की जाती है। इस दिन देवी लक्ष्मी की प्रधानता होती है।

नवरात्रि आखिरी तीन दिनों में ज्ञान की देवी सरस्वती की पूजा की प्रधानता रहती है। नवरात्रि का नौवां दिन अंतिम दिन होता है। इस दिन सभी नौ रूपों की पूजा कर नौ कन्याओं को भोजन कराया जाता है।

  • नवरात्रि का पहला दिन : माँ शैलपुत्री की पूजा
  • नवरात्रि का दूसरा दिन : माँ ब्रह्मचारिणी की पूजा
  • नवरात्रि का तीसरा दिन : माँ चंद्रघंटा की पूजा
  • नवरात्रि का चौथा दिन : माँ कुष्मांडा की पूजा
  • नवरात्रि का पाँचवा दिन : माँ स्कंदमाता की पूजा
  • नवरात्रि का छठा दिन :  माँ कात्यायनी की पूजा
  • नवरात्रि का सातवाँ दिन : माँ कालरात्रि की पूजा
  • नवरात्रि का आठवाँ दिन : माँ महागौरी पूजा
  • नवरात्रि का नौवाँ दिन : माँ सिद्धिदात्री की पूजा

नवरात्रि की पूजा (विधि–विधान सहिता)

नवरात्रि में माँ दुर्गा के नौ रूपों की आराधना की जाती है। अलग-अलग दिन अलग-अलग रूपों की आराधना की जाती है। नवरात्रि में माता के स्वरूप का स्थापना किया जाता है, तथा पूरे 9 दिन व्रत धारण किया जाता है, जिसमें 9 दिन तक अन्न ग्रहण नही किया जाता बल्कि केवल फलाहार ही लिया जाता है। कूटू अथवा सिंघाड़े के आटे की रोटी खाई जा सकती है। यदि व्रत रख पाने में असमर्थ हों तो पहले दिन व अंतिम दिन व्रत रखकर भी पूजन कार्य संपन्न कर सकते हैं। नवरात्रि के 9 दिन व्रत धारण करने से विशेष फल की प्राप्ति होती है।

नवरात्रि में पूजन कार्य के लिए निम्नलिखित पूजन सामग्री 

कलश (तांबे का लोटा), मौली, आम के पाँच पत्ते (डंडी सहित), रोली, गंगाजल, सिक्का, गेहूं या अक्षत, जवार बोने के लिए सामग्री, मिट्टी का बर्तन, शुद्ध मिट्टी, गेहूं या जौ, मिट्टी पर रखने के लिए एक साफ कपड़ा, साफ जल, और कलावा, चौकी पर बिछाने को लाल कपड़ा इत्यादि नवरात्रि में 9 दिन अखंड ज्योति जलाई जाती है।

ये अखंड ज्योति मिट्टी या पीतल के दीपक में गाय के दूध से बने घी से जलानी चाहिए। नवरात्रि के नौंवे दिन हवन किया जाता है, जिसके लिए हवन कुंड की स्थापना करके हवन करके नौ कन्याओं को भोजन कराया जाता है।

हवन कार्य के लिए आवश्यक सामग्री 

हवन कुंड, आम की लकड़ी, काले तिल, रोली या कुमकुम, अक्षत (चावल), जौ, धूप, पंचमेवा, घी, लोबान, लौंग का जोड़ा, गुग्गल, कमल गट्टा, सुपारी, कपूर, हवन में चढ़ाने के लिए भोग, शुद्ध जल (आमचन के लिए), काले चने और सूजी का बना प्रसाद इत्यादि। नवरात्रि में माता रानी के विग्रह (मूर्ति) की स्थापना की जाती है और उनका श्रंगार किया जाता है।

देवी के श्रृंगार के लिए आवश्यक सामग्री 

लाल चुनरी, चूड़ी, इत्र, सिंदूर, महावर, बिंदी, मेहंदी, काजल, बिछिया, माला, पायल, लाली व अन्य श्रृंगार के सामान।

नवरात्रि पूजन कार्य कैसे करें

  • नवरात्रि के दिन प्रथम दिन प्रातः काल उठकर सर्वप्रथम स्नान करें और स्वच्छ वस्त्र धारण कर लें।
  • अब अपने पूजा गृह में एक चौकी बेचकर उस पर स्वास्तिक का चिन्ह बनाएं और फिर वहाँ पर रोली और अक्षत से टीका करें।
  • एक लाल कपड़ा बिछाकर उस पर कलश स्थापन करें। कलश की स्थापना ईशान कोण में की जानी चाहिए। ईशान कोण पूर्व और उत्तर के बीच का कोण होता है।
  • कलश की स्थापना करने के लिए चावल की ढेरी बनाकर उसे पर तांबे अथवा मिट्टी का कलश रखें। उसमें पानी भरें तथा  कलश में गंगाजल भी डालें तथा उस कलश के ऊपर चंदन और रोली से टीका लगाएं।
  • कलश के अंदर दूर्वा, अक्षत, सुपारी डालें और एक सिक्का भी डाल दें। उसके बाद आम के पाँच पत्ते लेकर कलश के मुँह पर चारों तरफ लगाकर उसे पर एक नारियल रख दें।
  • कलश की स्थापना करते समय ‘ओम् ऐं ह्रीं क्लीं चामुण्डाये विच्चै‘ मंत्र का निरंतर जाप करते रहें।
  • पास में ही एक मिट्टी के पात्र में मिट्टी भरकर उसमे सात तरह के धान (तिल, चावल, मूंग, कंगनी, जौ, चना, गेहूँ) को बो दें।
  • अब कलश के पास ही देवी के विग्रह का स्थापन करें। विग्रह के रूप में मूर्ति अथवा देवी का चित्र स्थापित करें।
  • माता रानी के व्रत 9 दिन के व्रत में कलश की स्थापना करना बेहद आवश्यक माना जाता है। यह समृद्धि का कारक माना जाता है। उसके बाद देवी के विग्रह की विधिवत पूजा का अर्चना करें।
  • सबसे पहले भगवान गणेश और वरुण देवता का आह्वान कर देवी पूजन आरंभ करें। चंदन, कुंकुम,अक्षत, धूप-दीप नैवेद्य आदि से पूजन करें। अखंड दीप जलाएं जो पूरे नौ दिनो तक जलते रहना चाहिए।
  • माता रानी को प्रसाद चढ़ाने के लिए दूध से बनी सामग्री का ही भोग लगाएं। यथासंभव रोज दुर्गा सप्तशती का पाठ भी करें।
  • पूरा पाठ करना संभव नहीं हो तो हर दिन एक अध्याय का पाठ करें। पूजन करने के पश्चात दुर्गा सप्तशती का पाठ करें।
  • दुर्गा सप्तशती का जब पाठ संपन्न हो जाए फिर माँ दुर्गा जी की  आरती करें और सबको प्रसाद वितरित करें।
  • जिस दिन जिस देवी का स्वरूप निश्चित हो, उस दिन उस देवी-रूप का विशिष्ट रूप से ध्यान करके पूजन संपन्न करें। रोज दुर्गा सप्तशती, दुर्गा चालीसा का पाठ करें और आरती करें।

नवरात्रि में सावधानी बरतनी वाले बातें

  • जिन लोगों ने नवरात्रि के 9 दिन व्रत उपवास रखा है, वह पूरी तरह सात्विक जीवन शैली को अपनाएं।
  • ब्रह्मचर्य का पालन करें यथासंभव अन्न ग्रहण नहीं करें तथा केवल फलाहार ही ग्रहण करें।
  • किसी भी तरह के तामसिक पदार्थ का सेवन अथवा व्यसन का प्रयोग बिल्कुल भी ना करें।
  • सभी नौ दिन जमीन पर ही सोयें।
  • अपना आचरण शुद्ध रखें। किसी पर व्यर्थ में क्रोध न करें और ना ही असत्य बोलें। पूर्ण विनम्रता का व्यवहार रखें।
  • मन में निरंतर माँ दुर्गा के मंत्र का जाप करते रहें और उनके स्वरूप का ध्यान करते रहें।

नौंवें दिन हवन कराकर नौ कुंवारी कन्याओं को भोजन कराएं। उन्हे कोई उपयोगी उपहार दें। सब कुछ हो जाने के बाद ही अपना व्रत खोलते हुए भोजन ग्रहण करें।

दुर्गा चालीसा

नमो नमो दुर्गे सुख करनी। नमो नमो दुर्गे दुःख हरनी॥
निरंकार है ज्योति तुम्हारी। तिहूं लोक फैली उजियारी॥
शशि ललाट मुख महाविशाला। नेत्र लाल भृकुटि विकराला॥
रूप मातु को अधिक सुहावे। दरश करत जन अति सुख पावे॥

तुम संसार शक्ति लै कीना। पालन हेतु अन्न धन दीना॥
अन्नपूर्णा हुई जग पाला। तुम ही आदि सुन्दरी बाला॥
प्रलयकाल सब नाशन हारी। तुम गौरी शिवशंकर प्यारी॥
शिव योगी तुम्हरे गुण गावें।ब्रह्मा विष्णु तुम्हें नित ध्यावें॥

रूप सरस्वती को तुम धारा। दे सुबुद्धि ऋषि मुनिन उबारा॥
धरयो रूप नरसिंह को अम्बा। परगट भई फाड़कर खम्बा
रक्षा करि प्रह्लाद बचायो। हिरण्याक्ष को स्वर्ग पठायो॥
लक्ष्मी रूप धरो जग माहीं। श्री नारायण अंग समाहीं॥

क्षीरसिन्धु में करत विलासा। दयासिन्धु दीजै मन आसा॥
हिंगलाज में तुम्हीं भवानी। महिमा अमित न जात बखानी॥
मातंगी अरु धूमावति माता। भुवनेश्वरी बगला सुख दाता॥
श्री भैरव तारा जग तारिणी। छिन्न भाल भव दुःख निवारिणी॥

केहरि वाहन सोह भवानी। लांगुर वीर चलत अगवानी॥
कर में खप्पर खड्ग विराजै। जाको देख काल डर भाजै॥
सोहै अस्त्र और त्रिशूला। जाते उठत शत्रु हिय शूला॥
नगरकोट में तुम्हीं विराजत। तिहुंलोक में डंका बाजत॥

शुंभ निशुंभ दानव तुम मारे। रक्तबीज शंखन संहारे॥
महिषासुर नृप अति अभिमानी। जेहि अघ भार मही अकुलानी॥
रूप कराल कालिका धारा।सेन सहित तुम तिहि संहारा॥
परी गाढ़ संतन पर जब जब।भई सहाय मातु तुम तब तब॥

अमरपुरी अरु बासव लोका। तब महिमा सब रहें अशोका॥
ज्वाला में है ज्योति तुम्हारी। तुम्हें सदा पूजें नर-नारी॥
प्रेम भक्ति से जो यश गावें। दुःख दारिद्र निकट नहिं आवें॥
ध्यावे तुम्हें जो नर मन लाई। जन्म मरण ताकौ छुटि जाई॥

जोगी सुर मुनि कहत पुकारी। योग न हो बिन शक्ति तुम्हारी॥
शंकर आचारज तप कीनो।काम अरु क्रोध जीति सब लीनो॥
निशिदिन ध्यान धरो शंकर को। काहु काल नहिं सुमिरो तुमको॥
शक्ति रूप का मरम न पायो। शक्ति गई तब मन पछितायो॥

शरणागत हुई कीर्ति बखानी।जय जय जय जगदम्ब भवानी॥
भई प्रसन्न आदि जगदम्बा। दई शक्ति नहिं कीन विलम्बा॥
मोको मातु कष्ट अति घेरो। तुम बिन कौन हरै दुःख मेरो॥
आशा तृष्णा निपट सतावें। मोह मदादिक सब बिनशावें॥

शत्रु नाश कीजै महारानी।सुमिरौं इकचित तुम्हें भवानी॥
करो कृपा हे मातु दयाला। ऋद्धि-सिद्धि दै करहु निहाला।
जब लगि जिऊं दया फल पाऊं । तुम्हरो यश मैं सदा सुनाऊं॥
दुर्गा चालीसा जो कोई गावै।सब सुख भोग परमपद पावै॥
देवीदास शरण निज जानी। करहु कृपा जगदम्ब भवानी॥

महिषासुर मर्दिनी स्तोत्र

नवरात्रि में महिषासुर मर्दिनी स्तोत्र का पाठ करना बेहद शुभ फलदायी होता है।

अयि गिरिनन्दिनि नन्दितमेदिनि विश्वविनोदिनि नन्दिनुते,
गिरिवरविन्ध्यशिरोऽधिनिवासिनि विष्णुविलासिनि जिष्णुनुते।
भगवति हे शितिकण्ठकुटुम्बिनि भूरिकुटुम्बिनि भूरिकृते,
जय जय हे महिषासुरमर्दिनि रम्यकपर्दिनि शैलसुते ।।१।।

सुरवर वर्षिणि दुर्धर धर्षिणि दुर्मुख मर्षिणि हर्षरते,
त्रिभुवनपोषिणि शङ्करतोषिणि किल्बिष मोषिणि घोषरते।
दनुजनिरोषिणि दितिसुतरोषिणि दुर्मदशोषिणि सिन्धुसुते,
जय जय हे महिषासुरमर्दिनि रम्यकपर्दिनि शैलसुते ।।२।।

अयि जगदम्ब मदम्ब कदम्ब वनप्रिय वासिनि हासरते,
शिखरि शिरोमणि तुङ्गहिमालय शृङ्गनिजालय मध्यगते।
मधुमधुरे मधुकैटभ गञ्जिनि कैटभ भञ्जिनि रासरते,
जय जय हे महिषासुरमर्दिनि रम्यकपर्दिनि शैलसुते ।।३।।

अयि शतखण्ड विखण्डित रुण्ड वितुण्डित शुंड गजाधिपते,
रिपुगजगण्ड विदारणचण्ड पराक्रमशुण्ड मृगाधिपते।
निजभुजदण्ड निपातितखण्ड विपातितमुण्ड भटाधिपते,
जय जय हे महिषासुरमर्दिनि रम्यकपर्दिनि शैलसुते ।।४।।

अयि रणदुर्मद शत्रुवधोदित दुर्धरनिर्जर शक्तिभृते,
चतुरविचार धुरीणमहाशिव दूतकृत प्रमथाधिपते।
दुरितदुरीह दुराशयदुर्मति दानवदुत कृतान्तमते,
जय जय हे महिषासुरमर्दिनि रम्यकपर्दिनि शैलसुते ।।५।।

अयि शरणागत वैरिवधुवर वीरवराभय दायकरे,
त्रिभुवनमस्तक शुलविरोधि शिरोऽधिकृतामल शुलकरे।
दुमिदुमितामर धुन्दुभिनाद महोमुखरीकृत दिङ्मकरे,
जय जय हे महिषासुरमर्दिनि रम्यकपर्दिनि शैलसुते ।।६।।

अयि निजहुङ्कृति मात्रनिराकृत धूम्रविलोचन धूम्रशते,
समरविशोषित शोणितबीज समुद्भव शोणित बीजलते।
शिवशिवशुम्भ निशुम्भमहाहव तर्पितभूत पिशाचरते,
जय जय हे महिषासुरमर्दिनि रम्यकपर्दिनि शैलसुते ।।७।।

धनुरनुषङ्ग रणक्षणसङ्ग परिस्फुरदङ्ग नटत्कटके,
कनकपिशङ्ग पृषत्कनिषङ्ग रसद्भटशृङ्ग हताबटुके।
कृतचतुरङ्ग बलक्षितिरङ्ग घटद्बहुरङ्ग रटद्बटुके,
जय जय हे महिषासुरमर्दिनि रम्यकपर्दिनि शैलसुते ।।८।।

सुरललना ततथेयि तथेयि कृताभिनयोदर नृत्यरते,
कृत कुकुथः कुकुथो गडदादिकताल कुतूहल गानरते।
धुधुकुट धुक्कुट धिंधिमित ध्वनि धीर मृदङ्ग निनादरते,
जय जय हे महिषासुरमर्दिनि रम्यकपर्दिनि शैलसुते ।।९।।

जय जय जप्य जयेजयशब्द परस्तुति तत्परविश्वनुते,
झणझणझिञ्झिमि झिङ्कृत नूपुर शिञ्जितमोहित भूतपते।
नटित नटार्ध नटी नट नायक नाटितनाट्य सुगानरते,
जय जय हे महिषासुरमर्दिनि रम्यकपर्दिनि शैलसुते ।।१०।।

अयि सुमनःसुमनःसुमनः सुमनःसुमनोहरकान्तियुते,
श्रितरजनी रजनीरजनी रजनीरजनी करवक्त्रवृते।
सुनयनविभ्रमर भ्रमरभ्रमर भ्रमरभ्रमराधिपते,
जय जय हे महिषासुरमर्दिनि रम्यकपर्दिनि शैलसुते ।।११।।

सहितमहाहव मल्लमतल्लिक मल्लितरल्लक मल्लरते,
विरचितवल्लिक पल्लिकमल्लिक झिल्लिकभिल्लिक वर्गवृते।
शितकृतफुल्ल समुल्लसितारुण तल्लजपल्लव सल्ललिते,
जय जय हे महिषासुरमर्दिनि रम्यकपर्दिनि शैलसुते ।।१२।।

अविरलगण्ड गलन्मदमेदुर मत्तमतङ्ग जराजपते,
त्रिभुवनभुषण भूतकलानिधि रूपपयोनिधि राजसुते।
अयि सुदतीजन लालसमानस मोहन मन्मथराजसुते,
जय जय हे महिषासुरमर्दिनि रम्यकपर्दिनि शैलसुते ।।१३।।

कमलदलामल कोमलकान्ति कलाकलितामल भाललते,
सकलविलास कलानिलयक्रम केलिचलत्कल हंसकुले।
अलिकुलसङ्कुल कुवलयमण्डल मौलिमिलद्बकुलालिकुले,
जय जय हे महिषासुरमर्दिनि रम्यकपर्दिनि शैलसुते ।।१४।।

करमुरलीरव वीजितकूजित लज्जितकोकिल मञ्जुमते,
मिलितपुलिन्द मनोहरगुञ्जित रञ्जितशैल निकुञ्जगते।
निजगुणभूत महाशबरीगण सद्गुणसम्भृत केलितले,
जय जय हे महिषासुरमर्दिनि रम्यकपर्दिनि शैलसुते ।।१५।।

कटितटपीत दुकूलविचित्र मयुखतिरस्कृत चन्द्ररुचे,

विजितसहस्रकरैक सहस्रकरैक सहस्रकरैकनुते,
कृतसुरतारक सङ्गरतारक सङ्गरतारक सूनुसुते।
सुरथसमाधि समानसमाधि समाधिसमाधि सुजातरते,
जय जय हे महिषासुरमर्दिनि रम्यकपर्दिनि शैलसुते ।।१७।।

पदकमलं करुणानिलये वरिवस्यति योऽनुदिनं सुशिवे,
अयि कमले कमलानिलये कमलानिलयः स कथं न भवेत्।
तव पदमेव परम्पदमित्यनुशीलयतो मम किं न शिवे,
जय जय हे महिषासुरमर्दिनि रम्यकपर्दिनि शैलसुते ।।१८।।

कनकलसत्कल सिन्धुजलैरनु षिञ्चतितेगुण रङ्गभुवम्,
भजति स किं न शचीकुचकुम्भ तटीपरिरम्भ सुखानुभवम्।
तव चरणं शरणं करवाणि नतामरवाणि निवासि शिवम्,
जय जय हे महिषासुरमर्दिनि रम्यकपर्दिनि शैलसुते ।।१९।।

तव विमलेन्दुकुलं वदनेन्दुमलं सकलं ननु कूलयते,
किमु पुरुहूतपुरीन्दु मुखी सुमुखीभिरसौ विमुखीक्रियते।
मम तु मतं शिवनामधने भवती कृपया किमुत क्रियते,
जय जय हे महिषासुरमर्दिनि रम्यकपर्दिनि शैलसुते ।।२०।।

अयि मयि दीन दयालुतया कृपयैव त्वया भवितव्यमुमे,
